White Wolf, Inc. is the American gaming company responsible for Exalted, the game. The company was founded in 1991 by Mark Rein·Hagen and Steve and Stewart Wieck and has become one of the world's most successful role-playing game companies.
Next to Exalted, White Wolf also publishes a line of games set in the "World of Darkness", which generally resembles our world with added supernatural elements, and whose tone is generally described as "gothic punk." The company also publishes d20 system material under their Sword & Sorcery imprint. This includes titles such as the Dungeons & Dragons gothic horror campaign setting Ravenloft, and Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed series.
White Wolf has also created collectible card games such as Arcadia, Rage, and Vampire: The Eternal Struggle (formerly 'Jyhad'), the last one being the most successful of them.
Video games such as Vampire: the Masquerade - Redemption, and Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines, based on White Wolf's role-playing properties have also been developed. There are also video games based on the Hunter: The Reckoning title.
